Ethylene oxide is a speciality gas formed from organic compounds, which has a sweet smell a little like ether. This important gas has wide application as an industrial chemical due to its desirable properties. It is a reactive gas, which is toxic, but it is this reactivity which partly makes it so useful.

The gas ethylene oxide is a key component of consumer and non-consumer products such as detergents, thickeners, plastics, and solvents. It can also be incorporated into a range of organic chemicals such as polyglycol ethers, and is widely used in hospitals to sterilise surfaces.

• 300kg

• 770kg
